Underground, undiscovered and un-signed artists may already be familiar with Fuzz.com. It's a home away from home for the up and coming music stars of tomorrow. Designed and run by artists, it's user friendly website allows artists to upload and share or sell their music, communicate with their fans, create mailing lists, monitor sales, downloads & other stats and network with the like minded.

Coolest Young Musicians

This weekend, I am going put together a video of my best friends kids. They are two very capable musicians.

Number one plays piano and has received classical tuition. He is very talented and impressive for an eleven year old.

Number two plays drums and is also receiving formal tuition in rock, jazz, funk and latin styles. He plays like a machine and captivates his listeners who usually struggle to believe that he is only seven years old.

When these two heroes of the future play together, the Earth moves, seas part velvet robes open and champagne falls from the heavens.
They have to be seen to be believed.

Please check back here on Saturday for keywords, links and imbedded players and on how to find their video elsewhere. I intend to post it on youtube, google, yahoo, dailymotion, spike and gofish.

Peace, love and mungbeans. Keep on rockin.

How I did it

I started playing bass guitar with a couple of friends around 2001, in a garage band. We called ourselves Enuff Said.
We played an angry sloppy style of suburban rock music, with loud guitars and a heavy hitting drummer.

Around about 2004, I also started to record and produce my own music, together with some Enuff Said tracks, on my computer in my home studio.
Cool Edit, a dynamic microphone and connecting my guitar and bass directly into my Sound Blaster compatible sound card was how I began this process. I also used to use shareware and freeware drum machine programs to create drum tracks.

I now have some more advance programs from Native Instruments and Steinberg. I also have a couple of condenser microphones and a valve powered mic pre-amp. These can greatly increase the quality of home recordings.

After discovering Native Instuments, I started to get more interested in synthesizers, samplers and electronica. I still love to play guitars and bass, but I think I have developed a bit of a genre crisis.

Anyway, I hope someone out there enjoys listening to my music.

Thanks for having a look. Peace.
